The group attending the 2012 Summer School in Valsaín (Segovia), Spain, were not only enthusiastic participants: they wrote an article about the experience.
The Khakasian Technical Institute (a unit of the Siberian Federal University) in Abakan, Siberia, has a Laboratory of Dendrochronology, and in the summer of August 2013 they hosted the International Summer School. Participant from eight countries attended the summer school. Fieldwork was in the forests nearby, and a local TV news station ran short reports on the course. The results of the summer course published an article in TRR.
